TechClean & Restoration is seeking a Hazmat Manager for our Upper Hutt, Wellington Branch
TechClean & Restoration is searching for a motivated, Hazmat Manager to join our Wellington team with a willingness to learn or expand your industry knowledge into remediation of environmental contaminants. You’ll be scoping work from site reports, visiting sites, meeting contract managers, quoting work and managing remediation of a range of contaminants from asbestos, biological to meth and mould so you’ll be someone who likes variation in their day and loves to learn. With an eye for detail, we’re looking for someone who thrives on communication, delivery and problem solving.

You’ll be a people-person who knows how to communicate, manage key projects, and deliver varied projects safely and within agreed timeframes. You’ll need organisation and time-management, to lead a team of staff in our varied remediation projects.

Our Hazmat Manger will have strong written & oral skills as they will be visiting sites, reading a range of reports and assessments, scoping work, quoting, and there will be office-based time completing ARCP, SSSP and Worksafe notifications and scheduling of work and remediation teams.
What we’re looking for: Your previous experience may have included QS, Contract Management, related Building or Civil work, Demolition, IICRC Flood, Fire Restoration work technician, or you may be an Asbestos Supervisor looking for that next step up in your career or you may be a New Graduate with an interest in our industry.
